Just on the doorstep of turning one year old, Libby continues to be a great companion and keeps getting smarter as her training continues. It's sure going to be nice to get longer walks in now that the weather has finally turned nicer. There are many things I could say about Libby, as you may remember I brought her into my life as a companion some years after I lost my wife to cancer, the most important aspect of Libby's introduction into my life is the fact that through her I have learned how to care and demonstrate affection again, my doctor even promotes dog ownership to some of his other patients. In the last year my blood pressure has gone from very risky high range to what is now a steady 124 over 68, something I tell my doctor is due to having Libby ... the exercise we both get and the calming influence she has are a wonderful combination for good health.
Above all my thanks go to you and Paul for deeming me worthy of becoming an owner for one of your wonderful Labs, I'm sure they are all terrific but I like to think I got the best one...for me anyway.

Molly has been a wonderful addition to our family. She enjoys playing with our daughter and the neighborhood children – though she is also content to explore our yard by herself. She has a loving temperament and a very, very kind face. She has a gentle disposition and shows high intelligence with an eagerness to please. She has done very well in her obedience training thus far. While she has the drive to excel in obedience, she is also able to "turn it off" and relax when needed. We can't wait till the summer so we can take her swimming. We will continue with her obedience training and take her to some obedience / tracking competitions. We are also hoping to use her as a pet therapy dog.
